VIRC 5km Race Pack

In celebration of the Vancouver Irish Running Crew's 5-year milestone, I was approached to assist in crafting memorable race packs for their commemorative run. With a clear budget in mind and a wishlist including medals, coasters, and keyrings, the challenge was to balance creativity with practicality. Understanding the need for resourcefulness, I brainstormed a solution that would fulfill their desires without exceeding financial constraints.

The innovative approach involved designing a multifunctional medal that not only symbolized their achievement but also served as a coaster. This dual-purpose design not only aligned with their vision but also added a unique touch to the event, enhancing the overall experience for participants.

Witnessing the fruition of my creative endeavour's first hand was immensely rewarding. As the event unfolded, I had the privilege of personally congratulating and awarding the dedicated runners with their custom medals upon completing the race. Being an integral part of such a significant occasion not only highlighted the importance of my role but also reaffirmed my passion for creating memorable experiences through design.

This project not only exemplified my ability to think outside the box and adapt to specific requirements but also showcased my dedication to ensuring client satisfaction. It was a testament to the power of creativity and collaboration in transforming concepts into tangible, impactful realities.
